Stephen Philpy MBA – Business Director

Stephen has over 32 years of industry experience in the microelectronics industry and has held engineering, marketing and management positions at a few Fortune 500 U.S. Corporations. During the past 22 years he founded and developed three start-up microelectronics companies and two health care companies, where he has provided management, marketing, finance, engineering, program management and business development direction. During his career he has authored and won numerous U.S. Government Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Awards and in 2001 won a prestigious National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Advanced Technology Program (ATP) award.

In 1994 he was named “Outstanding Alumnus of the Year” by the University of Colorado’s College of Business.  He has also been listed in Who’s Among American Colleges and Universities and listed in the National Register’s Who’s Who in American Executives and Professionals. Mr. Philpy graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Electronics Engineering from Texas A&M University and received an M.B.A. in Marketing/Finance from the University of Colorado.
